PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

Pursuant to the provisions of the Spanish Organic Law on Protection of Personal Data, the EUROPEAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION- EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR THE REGIONS (EIPA-ECR) would like to inform participants in its activities of its policy in the field of protection of personal data so that these participants can freely decide to supply or not to the EUROPEAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION- EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR THE REGIONS (EIPA-ECR) personal data which might be asked from them or might be obtained on the occasion of their participation in activities organised by the EIPA-ECR in the framework of the EuroMed Justice III Project or which the EIPA-ECR makes public on the project website.

The personal data supplied to EIPA-ECR will be incorporated in automated files belonging to EIPA-ECR. The latter will be responsible for each one of these files which will be registered in the Spanish General Register of Data Protection where they will receive a registration number.

The EUROPEAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION- EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR THE REGIONS (EIPA-ECR) puts at the disposal of its users the necessary means so that these can access previously to the present information on the policy of personal data protection and so be able to give their free assent to the automated processing of these data by EIPA-ECR.

In compliance with the provisions of the Law on Data Protection, the EUROPEAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION- EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR THE REGIONS has adopted the security measures required by law based on the personal data included in its automated files, as well as security systems aimed at preventing any loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of personal data.
