First Meeting of the Directors of the Euro-Med Judicial Training Centres. Training in the Euromed region. Overview of the current situation. Interaction with the Euromed Justice III Project.

This first activity is mainly addressed to the directors of the Mediterranean Partners and EU Judicial training centres (or comparable institutions) and is entitled “Training in the Euromed region: overview of the current situation. Interaction with the Euromed Justice III Project”. On this occasion, we are going to share with the directors of the Mediterranean partners and EU training centres (or comparable institutions) and expert participants the work carried out during the first phase of the Euromed Justice III Project related to judicial training. We will also discuss very relevant topics related to training of judicial professionals such as “The evolution of the training of judges and prosecutors: present and future. EU and ENPI South Partner countries’ perspective” or “The use of e-learning to strengthen cross-border cooperation between judicial training institutions and judiciaries”. In this respect, we will have the opportunity to share the opinion on, and approach to, the Euro-Mediterranean space of justice regarding the role to be developed in this building process by training centres (or comparable institutions) from their own perspective and with their respective competences.

The meeting is mainly addressed to the main leaders of the Euro-Med Judicial Training Centres (or comparable institutions).
